In July 2007 I was elected on the first count to the Agriculture Panel to Seanad Eireann. In 2009 I was elected to the European Parliament for the South Constituency of Ireland. I was honoured in February 2011 to be elected to the 31st Dail for the old Tipperary North constituency.
