Main message to voters:
As an Independent Cllr., unblemished by party politics, my sole focus has been to represent the people on the many issues that faces them. My intention is to now bring this level of support to the people of Cork North West (CNW) at a national level and to be their Independent voice in Dáil Eireann.
Election history:
I was elected to Cork County Council in 2009, re-elected in 2014 securing 4,374 first preference votes. I also created history becoming one of the youngest Cllr's elected to the position of Mayor of County Cork and first ever Independent elected Mayor in Cork County Council's 116 year existence.
Priorities:
- Independent Voice: I am passionate about the areas I represent and want the best for its citizens & I will address the challenges facing you in CNW.
- I will fight for the retention and expansion of local services such as your local shop, post office, transport, broadband, health & social services.
- I want to support our local Towns, Villages and Rural Communities which have all suffered & faced huge challenges to survive throughout the recession.
