Election history:
Over the last twelve years I have served the people of West Cork and my track record of delivery is proven. I topped the poll in my first election in 2004 and was elected as the first female Mayor of Bandon. I was elected for a second term in 2009 and became a County Councillor in 2014.
Priorities:
- The devastating flooding that has brought misery on so many families and businesses needs to be addressed. Fast- tracking the funding is a priority.
- Protecting and securing investment for the forgotten communities of West Cork. The heart and soul of rural Ireland is at stake.
- As a mother of two teenagers the plight of working mothers is very close to my heart. Better tax incentives must be introduced.
