This election couldn't be more important. Unemployment remains high, rural Ireland is in decline, and our climate is changing. We can choose between business as usual or a new type of politics that puts the long term interests of our country first. I am a new, young voice that can provide this.

This is my first time standing as a candidate. I have, however campaigned in general and local elections since joining the Green Party in 2007. In 2011, I acted as campaign manager for our Cavan - Monaghan candidate Darcy Lonergan.
Priorities:
- Tackling rural decline by creating opportunities for job creation and entrepreneurship and supporting communities to meet their needs locally.
- Practicing clean, corruption free politics, which puts long term needs over short term gain. Proper planning and sustainable development are vital.
- Giving future generations a voice by acting to tackle climate change and develop a prosperous low carbon economy by 2050. We can be world leaders.
